We visited a site of Ishikari River where the bed degradation is very serious.
Sandy rock is abraded by bed load sediment transport.
This place is covered with gravel sediments with 5-10cm diameter.
Sandy rock is exposed at one side of the gravel bar.
It looks like the gravel sediment concentrate on the trench and the abrasion is accelerated.
